DESIGN EDUCATION FOR ENGINEERS
ABOUT DESIGNABLE
Design benefitted me immensely as an engineer and thus I really wanted more engineers experience the benefits of design too. This led me to form this organisation that aims to bring design education to engineers.
WORKSHOPS
We designed a curriculum to lower the barrier of entry to design. There were 2 aspects to the workshops: technical and non-technical.
Technical workshops included Illustrator and Photoshop, while non-technical involved Graphic Design Principles and Ideation/Sketching.
DESIGNING FOR CLIENTS
We worked with profit and non-profit organisations to create graphic designs, namely web designs, graphic illustrations and posters.
We targeted technical startups and created designs for them. Our background in engineering helped us communicate better with these clients and enabled us to create designs to catered to their technical nature.
